Dr. Ma, joined the Biostatistics Center in 2002 and now serves as a Co-Investigator of the NIDDK-sponsored Diabetes Prevention Program Outcomes Study (DPPOS) Data Coordinating Center. In addition to data analyses and manuscript preparation, Dr. Ma is actively involved in clinical trial operation, protocol oversight, and DSMB reporting. She has served as a reviewer for the American Journal of Hypertension and currently a reviewer for the Journal of National Cancer Institute. Dr. Ma's research interests include threshold identification, missing data handling, model selection, and other methodology with application in clinical trials. Dr. Ma has been an author or co-author on 20+ research papers on AIDS and diabetes research.
