Global Health at GW

GW is home to a wide range of global health research and practice activities both within the Department of Global Health and across the University. 

The Department of Global Health (DGH) carries out innovative research and scholarly service activities to strengthen the link between science and policy in Washington, DC and around the globe. Working with a diverse group of partners, DGH brings a range of program evaluation skills and policy expertise to global health research and practice. Faculty focus on the development of scientific research and work to effectively communicate health information to the public by integrating research findings into both public health education and practice. Activities range from the provision of technical support, to the undertaking of domestic and international research, to monitoring and evaluation programs,  to strategic policy guidance.
