For more information, visit www.ifc.org IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to build and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing and deploying diverse and skilled talent. Led by the Vice President of Corporate Resources, the IFC HR team delivers products and support that meet the business needs of IFC across the following areas: • Client Services – offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support and solutions to staff and management globally; • Talent and Incentives – designs standard methodology HR solutions in onboarding, career management and mobility, performance/talent management, incentives and awards, and leadership development; • Employment Framework and Recruitment – delivers recruitment solutions and diversity & inclusion initiatives, and develops and supports HR strategy, policies, procedures, and knowledge management; and • Strategic Initiatives – manages key HR initiatives, such as Board engagement, fragile and conflict states, workforce planning, position management and people analytics and reporting. Background Driven by the need to support IFC business in delivering IFC 3.0 strategies at an unprecedented scale and speed, IFC HR team is looking for an ETC to support the planning, coordination and implementation of a series of onboarding activities. COVID-19 is challenging the traditional way of Onboarding, by requiring many IFC offices to close and new hires have to start their onboarding journey remotely. Therefore, it is of crucial importance for IFC to respond quickly and deliver a solid virtual onboarding program for our new hires. The successful delivery of this program will require the support from an ETC with the following deliverables. Duties and Accountabilities • Assist with analyzing data, generating reports and presentations to provide insights and suggestions to internal and external clients. • Assist with regular updates of the virtual onboarding workflow. • Assist with the design and delivery of trainings to Onboarding Coordinators, including biweekly courses, monthly knowledge sharing sessions and other ad-hoc events. • Manage one-on-one check-in conversations with IFC new staff. Specific actions include managing the new hires list, sending out invitations, collecting user data and feedback, and helping the team to think of solutions to improve user experience. • Manage the Onboarding Coordinator database, liaise with HR Client Services team and Clients as needed to obtain the latest information of client services allocation and Onboarding Coordinators. • Assist with organizing online or in-person events, facilitate attendee list and speakers, track attendance and follow up as needed. • Take notes/photos/recordings during trainings/events, edit and publish them on the website. • Regularly monitor and update Onboarding website content, ensure the latest information is correctly reflected on the websites. • Monitor the service mailboxes daily; reply to questions in a timely manner, flag any issues as appropriate. • Participate in the design and implementation of new Mentoring and other staff development programs. • Explore other “nice to have” initiatives. • Support other activities in the Talents & Incentives team, or the broader IFC HR as needed. Selection Criteria • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field is desired but not required, and minimum of 2 years of experience; or a minimum of 4 years of experience plus a bachelor’s degree. Experience working on Onboarding, Mentoring, or Learning is a plus. • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to ‘make things happen’. • Strong communications and presentation skills, strong client-service attitude. • Validated performance in analytical skills (especially HR Analytics): proven track record of conducting research and analysis, report generation, good narrative grasp of ‘the story behind the numbers’, and ability to think of solutions in response to the areas of improvement. • Professional integrity, willingness and flexibility to ‘roll-up your sleeves’ to engage in all aspects of HR work from identification and design to implementation. • Proficiency in HR Systems and Microsoft Windows applications, especially a proficient use of Excel, Word and Power Point, including advanced spreadsheet design, lookup tables, manipulation, and analysis skills. Experience in Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus. • Strong quality control orientation; attention to detail. • Proven ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. • Self-starter, multi-tasker and demonstrated team player. • Basic skills in graphic design (poster design) and video editing is a plus. • Familiarity with IFC/WBG HR and IT systems, recruitment and/or onboarding process is a plus.
