Job Description This position is responsible for the District’s day-to-day oversight of 2 Medicaid programs, Babycare and Pre-admission Screenings (ePAS) along with conducting quality improvement and tracking around accounts receivable associated with these two programs. Duties include but are not limited to – serve as a program coordinator of DMAS ePAS and Babycare programs, receiving request calls, performing the PAS intake process for the client, accompanying the Public Health Nurse on child screenings into the homes, data entry during some home visits, after home visit reporting, technical and programmatic assistance, database entry, statistical analysis, developing district policies, coordinating resources for clients, following up with Dept of Social Services (DSS) on outcome screening, and tracking revenues. This position will also provide support to the nursing senior management team of the Thomas Jefferson Health District. Monitoring district-wide program nursing outputs, nursing strategic plan outcomes, along with monitoring nursing performance metrics. Participates in the development and implementation of a nursing quality improvement process.

CBO seeks Health Care Analyst

The analyst will focus primarily on coverage of mental health and substance abuse services in the Medicaid program and in related programs administered by the Department of Health and Human Services.  Candidates must have a graduate degree in public policy, public administration, public health, economics, or a related field and experience analyzing or working on public policy issues and strong skills in quantitative methods.  We would appreciate it if you can share this job announcement with your alumni.

CBO’s health analysts work closely with key Congressional staff as they develop federal health care policy. They prepare multiyear spending projections for federal health care programs, analyze the Administration’s budget proposals, and prepare cost estimates for legislation being considered by the Senate and House of Representatives. That legislation may consist of a wide range of proposals to modify the financing or delivery of health care-for example, proposals to modify the set of health care services that federal programs cover, the terms under which the federal government will pay for services, or the amount that the federal government or beneficiaries will pay for covered services.

Position Summary:

The Associate will support our Vaccine Access and Uptake projects, which aim to increase uptake of new and under-utilized vaccines.  The Associate will be responsible for various duties including assistance with advocacy efforts, event coordination, grant/funder opportunities and resource mobilization.


  • Conduct research for various Vaccine Access and Update projects
  • Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings for proposals and manuscripts
  • Coordinate working groups on various initiatives, as needed
  • Assist with the development of strategies for monitoring, evaluating and reporting the impact of advocacy efforts
  • Coordinate website updates and assist with content for various projects
  • Responsible for Spanish language support for various initiatives
  • Gather and analyze immunization-related data and information by country, region, etc.
  • Assist with the development of consistent research-based materials for outreach, in conjunction with the Communications team
  • Assist in planning and conducting teleconferences and webinars
  • Assist with program budgets and other financial documents
