What: Three-Part Event: (1) Networking with Recruiters; (2) High Profile Public Service Careers Recruiter Panel; (3) US Intel Community Roundtable.

For: Internships and Full-time Employment – All students; All Years (undergrad & grad). All majors! Employers seeking majors in engineering; computer science, business, health; international affairs/international development; policy; languages; social science; physical science; communications; and research skills.

The GW 2023 Career Exploration EXPO

 The GW 2023 Career Exploration EXPO is a student-led initiative, engaging both undergraduate and graduate students to explore possible career opportunities. In partnership with the Center for Career Services, this event will provide attendees with the chance to find potential jobs or internships and is a great way to network with employers.

The EXPO will be held over two days to accommodate virtual and in-person formats. Please note that different employers will participate in each day of the fair. Ensure that you note which employers are participating virtually, in-person, or both.

Resume Workshop – Monday, January 30 , 6-7pm – Virtual
Learn some resume basics and how to make your resume stand out to employers at the fair!

Resume Review Sessions – Wednesday, February 1, 2-7pm at USC 5th Floor

Have your resume reviewed before the fair by our GW Center for Career Services Staff. These sessions will last 15 minutes and students are encouraged to sign-up in advance.

 

International Students: Navigating the Job Search – Thursday, February 2, 6pm at Student Center 309

Dan Beaudry, author of Power Ties: The International Student’s Guide to Finding a Job in the United States, presents the most effective strategies for securing employment in the U.S. 

 

Prepare for the Fair: Strategy Sessions – Monday, February 6, 5-7pm at USC Room 309

This 2-hour seminar will prepare students to confidently attend the Career Exploration Expo. Students can attend one or multiple sessions in a seminar-like format.
