You’re Invited: 9th Annual Communities of Color Health Conference

On behalf of the George Washington University’s Milken Institute School of Public Health (GWSPH) Black Public Health Student Network (BPHSN), we would like to invite you to participate in our annual convening, the Communities of Color Health Conference. The conference will present an opportunity to highlight the convening authority of GWSPH and BPHSN, and renew our shared commitment to community engagement, particularly as it relates to addressing the behavioral health challenges faced daily by communities of color.

This year, our 9th Annual Communities of Color Health Conference’s theme is, “Our Mind Matters: Inspiring Innovation and Connectivity in Community Oriented Behavioral Health.” It will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 9:30am – 3:30pm at the Milken Institute School of Public Health, located at 950 New Hampshire Avenue N.W. Washington, D.C. 20037. This year’s theme will focus on the issues surrounding the stigma and barriers regarding mental and behavioral health in communities of color.
