Dean Goldman and President Knapp Publish Op-Ed in the Huffington Post

Lynn R. Goldman, dean of Milken Institute School of Public Health and Steven Knapp, president of the George Washington University, co-authored an op-ed on the importance of public health prevention. The authors note that an estimated 2.8 million people worldwide die each year because they are overweight or obese and have developed weight-related disorders. They say “our nation and the world can no longer afford to pay the high price of treating established diseases and must shift to a more sustainable paradigm—one focused on keeping people healthy right from the start.”
