Travis Bias TabsBio Travis Bias, DO, MPH, DTM&H, is a Family Medicine physician in California, fully educated and trained in Texas, with five years of private- and employer-based practice experience. Several short-term stints in Kenya and a decade of advocacy experience within the Texas Medical Association led to completing a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H) through the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in East Africa and an MPH@GW as part of the first co-hort. For over a year in 2016-17, Travis taught first as faculty in Kabarak University’s Family Medicine residency program in Chogoria and then as a Visiting Lecturer at Busitema University’s Faculty of Health Sciences in Mbale, Uganda, as part of a public-private partnership between the US Peace Corps, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and Seed Global Health.
