HSML Alumni Association

The George Washington University Health Services Management and Leadership Alumni Association (HSMLAA) has more than 3,100 alumni from all 50 states and 19 foreign countries. Membership is automatic for graduates of the HSML degree programs. Our graduates include senior executives in hospital management, long term care administration, managed care organizations, consulting, association management, banking and finance, and other sectors of the healthcare delivery system. More than 1200 members of the HSMLAA are also members of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

Volunteer Opportunities

Our dedicated graduates also contribute to the success of the volunteer programs that assist the torchbearers of the health services profession:

  • HSML Class Delegate Program: Join leaders from each HSML class since 1962 and reach out to fellow alumni to find out about alumni needs and how they would like to be involved.
  • HSML Executive in Residence Program: Participate in and offer short courses for students in specialized topics and share your real-world expertise.
  • HSML Residency Program: Offer a residency to a GW HSML student, and you will be impressed with the skills he or she will contribute to your health care organization. Help to keep an integral part of achieving excellence in our training program alive.
