All open faculty positions at GW are advertised on Because of the interdisciplinary nature of public health, there may be open positions in multiple GW schools, departments and offices. We encourage interested applicants to create an account at where they can view and apply online to all open public health positions at GW, not just those at the Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Positions for Public Health Staff

All open staff positions at GW are advertised on Interested applicants should create an account at and use the online system to search for and apply to open positions. You can limit the list to show only open School of Public Health positions, or limit it to show certain categories of position such as senior management positions, professional staff positions or support staff positions.

Positions for Current Students

The Milken Institute School of Public Health Career Center maintains a jobs database of full and part-time jobs in the public health field. Student interested in working for GW in part-time campus jobs (including Federal Work Study jobs) as well as full-time jobs, internships and temporary employment with the university should consult the GWork system. All incoming students are automatically assigned a GWork account where they can see and explore open positions available at GW.

The School of Public Health also has a dedicated career center to help public health students. Students can check out resources for their job search, read career blog posts, find out about upcoming events, or schedule one-on-one career counseling through the Milken Institute School of Public Health Career Center website.

Positions for Alumni

Alumni can continue to take advantage of the Milken Institute School of Public Health Career Center after graduation, including career services blog posts, upcoming events, and one-on-one career counseling in person or over the phone. There is also a LinkedIn group for alumni which can be used for advice and networking. Alumni interested in working for GW should look for available faculty and staff positions on Alumni needing assistance in a broader job search should contact the career services alumni staff member.
