Bejanchong Foretia is a global health professional and a 2024 DrPH candidate within the GWU Milken Institute School of Public Health. She recently supported USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, where she served as a lead humanitarian reporter and information coordinator, deploying to regions in the Middle East and East Africa on USAID’s Disaster Assistance Response Teams. At the Office of Research Excellence, Bejan serves as a Graduate Administrative Assistant and plays a key role in executing special projects, focusing on the coordination, planning, implementation, and monitoring of key GWSPH research programs and showcase events. In this role, she enhances her skills in project management and coordination to support GWU as a premier research institution.
Bejan received a BA in psychology from Spelman College and an MPH in Global Maternal and Child Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Bejan also received a graduate certificate in Global Gender Policy from GWU’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
