Event Planning Assistance

Reservable event space includes the convening center, first floor auditorium, case study room 700A and the B-level auditorium and rooms. Requests are reviewed on a daily basis but it can take up to 3-5 days until an event request has been confirmed. In order to ensure adequate planning and support from the University, requests must be made 20 days in advance of the event date. Requests made fewer than 20 days prior to the anticipated event date will be reviewed at the events team’s discretion.

All events are subject to a strict review by the Dean’s Office.

Submit an Event

Milken Institute School of Public Health uses the University Events Portal, USI, for event bookings. When entering a request, please ensure all relevant information is listed correctly, including the point of contact (Event Host) for the Event. Please note this portal is only used for Events, all class requests must be made through EMS.

A Venue Manager will be assigned and will contact the Event Host a week prior to the event to confirm the event details and assistance needed (i.e. AV capabilities, housekeeping, room setup, etc.).
