Christy Kramer

Christy Kramer is an aging services and healthcare leader with more than two decades of experience in operations, workforce development, higher education, association leadership, and leadership development. Her work focuses on strengthening the aging services workforce, developing emerging leaders, and building connections among students, universities, and aging services organizations.

Kramer began her career in senior living operations and is a licensed nursing home administrator. She served as the administrator of a 285-bed nursing home, where her responsibilities included
organizational leadership, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, technology implementation, and culture change. She later transitioned to higher education and association leadership, developing programs and partnerships designed to introduce students and emerging
professionals to careers in aging services and support the field's current and future workforce.

Her experience includes leadership roles with LeadingAge and LeadingAge DC, as well as work with the George Washington University. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and works with the Vision Centre to strengthen university-industry partnerships and expand opportunities for students to engage with the aging services field.
