Emily Yox graduated from GWU's Milken Institute School of Public Health in 2019 with an MPH in Global Health Epidemiology and Disease Control. After graduating, she assisted with Design of Health Studies, R Programming, and GIS courses for the residential MPH program before moving to teaching in the online MPH@GWU program in 2021. Since then, she has been an Adjunct Professor for the Principle and Practices of Epidemiology course.
Emily is also employed by Leidos Biomedical Research Inc as a Program Manager, working with NIAID and the Congolese Biomedical Research Institute in Kinshasa, on developing and implementing research protocols focusing on Mpox and Ebola.
