Geralyn S. Johnson-Bracken, DDS, MPH, is a public health and health systems leader with more than three decades of experience spanning federal service, executive leadership, and consulting. A retired Captain in the U.S. Public Health Service, she held clinical and senior leadership roles across the Department of Health and Human Services, including Deputy Director of Health Services at Immigration Health Services, Acting Chief of Staff and Director of Quality and Performance at Federal Occupational Health, and executive positions within HRSA, the Bureau of Prisons, and BARDA. Her expertise includes clinical dentistry and dental public health, health systems management, accreditation, emergency preparedness, telehealth, and large-scale program planning and evaluation. Dr. Johnson-Bracken holds an MPH in Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins University and a DDS from Creighton University, and currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Global Health at the George Washington University while consulting independently on health systems strategy and leadership development.
