Jordi began working for the Climate and Health Institute (CHI) as a CHI Research Fellow in 2024, additionally providing support as an Administrative Associate for the newly founded Research and Engagement for Action on Climate and Health (REACH) Center. In May of 2025, Jordi completed his MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health from the GWU Milken Institute School of Public Health, and he has since continued both of his roles with the CHI and REACH center. Jordi's research focuses on the intersection of climate change and health, examining the ways in which climate policy can protect human health and methods to catalyze further climate action. Jordi is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and has previous research experience on how climate adaptations can protect populations living with AIDS in Africa, how climate change affects independent restaurants, and the mental health effects of Green Building Rating Systems.
