Andrew Wiss, Assistant Dean for Academic Innovation and Professorial Lecturer of Health Policy and Management at the Milken Institute School of Public Health was inducted as a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP) and its new Public Health Academy at the NAP Annual Meeting held in Washington D.C.
Dr. Wiss was inducted in March 2025 alongside 30 other faculty, staff and organizational leaders from academic public health and professional settings whose work has contributed significantly to interprofessional education and practice, improved health sector collaboration, and more inclusive person/patient-centered care and programs.
Three additional Milken Institute SPH faculty members were accepted this Fall to be inducted into the NAP Class of 2026 next March. This honor recognizes their significant contributions to public health, interdisciplinary education, and leadership.
