Dr. Danoff has been teaching in the areas of Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Modalities, Statistics, and Research Design for over 30 years and has been on the faculties of the University of Maryland and Howard University before joining The George Washington University. He has also served as adjunct faculty at Boston and Shenandoah Universities.

Dr. Danoff is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Physical Therapy Association. He is a licensed Physical Therapist and is active in the Orthopedic, Clinical Electrophysiology, and Research Sections of the APTA. He also is a manuscript reviewer for several professional journals.

Danoff is a chronic exerciser engaged in biking, running, and weight lifting. His principal hobby is playing the trumpet in local community theaters and with several combos.
