Sarah Crozier is the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing for the Milken Institute School of Public Health. In this role, Sarah leads strategic communications across GWSPH.
Prior to joining GW, Sarah was the Senior Director of Communications for the Association of American Publishers, leading communications on campaigns to fight book bans and upholding the rights of creators during the rise of artificial intelligence. She was also the Communications Director for Main Street Alliance, on the forefront of the small business COVID-19 response. Previously, she worked with the National Cooperative Business Association, leading communications for their $250 million international development and public health portfolio across 26 countries. In higher education, Sarah worked on the marketing team for the University of Denver's Korbel School. She has also worked in newsrooms such as GlobalPost and WBUR, Boston’s NPR station, as well as with the Center for Defending the Freedoms of Journalists in Amman, Jordan.
She began her career in public health communications serving with the Peace Corps in Ethiopia.
