"The Negative Calorie Diet in Action" uses science to put this trend to the test
GW Weight Management & Human Performance Lab Featured on Dr. Oz Show
On February 8, 2016 the Dr. Oz Show aired a segment in which reporter Jenna Wolfe visits Milken Institute School of Public Health's Weight Management and Human Performance Lab to investigate the science behind the latest weight-loss trend--the negative calorie diet. Exercise and Nutrition Sciences Professor and Lab Director Todd Miller uses the lab's state-of-the-art equipment and testing services to tell us if this diet actually works.
The lab, located on GW's Virginia Science and Technology Campus in Ashburn, Virginia, offers services including metabolism testing, body composition analysis, VO2 testing, and nutrition and dietary counseling.
