Dr. Anne Monroe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at George Washington University. She is the Project Director of the DC Cohort, a clinical cohort to examine HIV outcomes among over 12,000 people receiving HIV care in Washington, DC. She previously received a career development grant from NIH to develop interventions to improve retention in HIV care. Her other research interests include aging and HIV and metabolic/cardiovascular complications of HIV infection. Dr. Monroe maintains a clinical practice providing HIV primary care at the Washington DC VA Hospital.
