Jacqueline Firth, MD, MPH, AAHIVM is an Adjunct Faculty Member and Leads the Department of Epidemiology’s Course on Ending the HIV Epidemic. She was previously the Branch Chief for the Pediatric and Maternal Clinical HIV Branch at USAID, and is currently the Team Lead for HIV Programs at the Department of State's Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy.

Dr. Firth received her BA in History from Georgetown University, and her MD and MPH from Tulane University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Brown University and worked for several years in Botswana, before joining USAID in 2013, and then the Department of State in 2025 following the closure of USAID.
