The Metabolism and Exercise Testing (MET) Laboratory is a service center of the Department of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences in the Milken School of Public Health at George Washington University. The Core provides more than fourteen physiological, metabolic, and human performance testing services that have demonstrated research demand for federally and privately-funded projects. The MET Laboratory serves to further expand public health-related research in the DC metro region by providing a readily accessible and professional space for principal investigators to engage in rigorous and reliable data collection across the physical activity, exercise physiology, nutrition, and human performance disciplines. Select laboratory testing services are also available to athletic populations and the general public across the GW community and the greater DC metro region through our public testing program.
