Stacie is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Global Health at the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health. Her research interests include infectious disease dynamics, vaccine science, and maternal and newborn epidemiology. As part of Dr. Emily Smith’s research team, Stacie supports data management for the Pregnancy Risk, Infant Surveillance, and Measurement Alliance (PRISMA) open cohort study, which spans sites in Ghana, India, Kenya, Pakistan, and Zambia. Prior to joining GW, Stacie worked at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she researched the impact of public health measures on viral transmission, outbreak risk, vaccine efficacy, and public perceptions of SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Additionally, she contributed to research on effectively mobilizing and deploying supplementary immunization activities for measles during public health crises. Stacie earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Boise State University and her Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
