Corinne (Corey) Bassett is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. She is an interdisciplinary social scientist studying how to manage urban ecosystems and their diverse benefits to foster healthier cities. Her many research interests include how to motivate individual and collective action for urban sustainability, and the interface of science, policy, and practice.
 
Prior to beginning her research career and PhD, she worked as an urban forester and ISA Certified Arborist in Pennsylvania, California, and Hawaii, partnering with community organizations to plant and care for urban trees.
