Rebecca is the Practicum Coordinator at The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, Department of Global Health. She facilitates the completion of the Applied Practice Experience requirement for students completing the master’s in public health degree.
Rebecca retired from the Army in 2019 where she served as a Special Operations Civil Affairs Medical Specialist. Rebecca retired as the Senior Enlisted Medical Advisor for Special Operations Civil Affairs. Rebecca has worked in multiple US Embassies overseas conducting medical outreach programs, joint humanitarian assistance programs, stability operations, and health systems development. Rebecca’s geographical area of expertise is sub-Saharan West Africa however, she also served multiple tours in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. After Rebecca retired from the Army she completed a two-year communications research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, Center for Global Health.
