GW Celebrates National Public Health Week 2016

To celebrate National Public Health Week (NPHW) 2016, the Public Health Student Association at Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University (GW) has planned a week-long series of events from April 4 - 10, 2016. This year, each day's activities will focus around the school's six academic departments.

Monday, April 4: Global Health

Tuesday, April 5: Epidemiology and Biostatistics

Virtual Table Top Exercise with FEMA
12 - 4 pm | 950 New Hampshire Ave., NW, First Floor Auditorium

Hosted by FEMA's Emergency Management Institute, the scenario for this exercise will be a hurricane in which students, faculty and staff will exercise the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to effectively conduct all-hazards emergency mitigation, response, and recovery. The event will connect to other participating sites across the country via a video teleconference bridge and will also have representatives from GW's Office of Emergency Management present for the event. Participants who stay the entire four hours will receive a certificate of completion from FEMA.
