Public Health Career Fair - Info for Employers

The Annual Milken Institute School of Public Health Career Fair originally scheduled for Thursday, April 9th, has been cancelled. Q: How do I register for the 2021 Career Fair?

The deadline for registration is April 1, 2021. Register here.

Q: What types of students will be at the Career Fair?

The Public Health and Health Services Career Fair will be attended by Milken Institute School of Public Health students and alumni. This is a closed event for GW students only.

Q: How many students do you anticipate to attend the Career Fair?

We anticipate a large turnout for the event. At last year’s career fair, we had over 300 attendees.

Q: What if I am not currently hiring?

If you do not have any hiring needs at the moment, we still urge you to consider attending. The Career Fair offers a great opportunity to introduce your organization to the Milken Institute School of Public Health community of students and alumni who may be looking for jobs in the future, when you may have positions you are seeking to fill. This opportunity may also connect you with future volunteers and interns interested in your organization.

Q: What sort of materials do you suggest I bring to the Career Fair?

You may want to bring business cards, brochures, fact sheets, and printed copies of position descriptions.

Q: May I bring a display to the Career Fair?

You may bring a display to the fair, and each organization will be provided with one 5x2' table. Displays should be free-standing. A limited number of tables will have access to electric outlets, for those who intend to use a laptop as part of their display. Wifi access is available. 

Q: How much does it cost to participate?

We are pleased to say there is no registration fee for employers to attend the Milken Institute School of Public Health Career Fair. In other words, it is FREE!

The Foggy Bottom-GW Metro Station serving the Blue and Orange Lines is conveniently located on campus at 23rd & I Streets, NW.  


University Parking Garage

  • Access from H Street between 22nd and 23rd Streets, located under the Science and Engineering Hall

Marvin Center Garage

  • Access on H Street between 21st and 22nd Streets

*We are only able to validate parking in the University Parking and Marvin Center Garages. The Milken Institute School of Public Health is just a short walk from both garages. Please bring your parking ticket with you to the event so we can validate it for you.

Q: What time should I arrive at the Career Fair, and when does it end?

Please plan to arrive at the career fair no later than 2:30 PM, which is thirty minutes prior to its start time. The career fair is scheduled to run from 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM.
