April 7, 2015

On April 3, 2015 Murdock Head Professor of Medicine and Health Policy Fitzhugh Mullan and Professor of Global Health Mary Ellsberg at Milken Institute School of Public Health gave talks at the TEDxFoggyBottom event, which was held in Lisner Auditorium on the George Washington University (GW) campus. TEDxFoggyBottom is an independently organized TED event and one of the largest student-run TEDx events in the United States. It was spearheaded by GW undergraduates and featured talks by innovators, thinkers, doers and leading experts on a variety of topics.  Ellsberg’s talk focused on domestic violence against women while Mullan zeroed in on reforms in medical education and ways that such reform could lead to better health for all.
