EOH Latest Newsletter: Professors Publish, Educate, and Aid on Cadmium and Aging, Clean Cookstoves, Healthy Schools, Fracking, and MinIONs -- and More

In December 2014, Assistant Professor Ami Zota’s study linking cadmium to aging was published in the Journal of Epidemiology.  Assistant Professors Amanda Northcross and Jay Graham hosted a discussion and demonstration of clean cookstoves.  Professor and Pediatrician Jerry Paulson was honored as a Healthy Schools Hero.  EOH faculty also began testing MinIONs, influenced the Consumer Product Safety Commission, and investigated construction safety equipment testing.  See the latest Department of Environmental and Occupational Health newsletter for details and more, including which professorial lecturer was honored as a Food Safety Hero.
