EOH Latest Newsletter: EOH Professors at White House, New Associate Dean, Publications on Feminine Hygiene and Contaminated Meat, and Much More, Including Many Publications and Honors

September 2, 2015

In Summer 2015, three EOH professors participated in a White House event on climate change.  A former science advisor to the U.S. EPA was named as a senior associate dean and EOH professor.  High profile publications by EOH professors raised awareness about important issues, including exposure to contaminants through douching, a link between eating meat and urinary tract infections, and how to collect important data on the health effects of cooking fires.  Faculty, students and staff also had numerous publications and gave presentations on neonicotinoid pesticides, impacts of mercury exposure, neglected tropical diseases, and vitamin D.  See the latest Department of Environmental and Occupational Health newsletter for details and more, including what SciFOO is.
