Julia Blouin, MS, is a doctoral student in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition, addressing the health behaviors and biomarkers of young adult populations. She received a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Human Nutrition from Clemson University. Her versatile research focused on the mental health of college students, the design of healthy environments, and food pantry accommodation for medically necessary diets. These experiences led Julia to GW where she manages a longitudinal study measuring diet, stress, sleep, physical activity, and food insecurity, of undergraduate students. In addition, she is a research assistant for a school-based intervention on physical literacy and a teaching assistant for nutrition curriculum.
