PCH Professor and Vice Chair Carlos Rodríguez-Díaz was a panelist for the NIH World AIDS Day 2022 Virtual Event

On December 1, World AIDS Day, Carlos Rodríguez-Díaz was a panelist for the NIH World AIDS Day 2022 Virtual Event: Progress and Promise in HIV Research. Dr. Rodriguez-Diaz was asked to provide his insights on recruiting and supporting the next generation of researchers as well as the next generation of providers and advocates. He noted the need for a transdisciplinary, comprehensive approach to community centered research that integrates activists, mobilizers, scientists, and leaders and observed that these approaches will attract young people of the community and young scholars to careers in public health research and clinical care.
