PCH Professor Lorien Abroms and PCH doctoral students Nandita Krishnan and Jiayan Gu published in the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review on the response of social media platforms to COVID-19 misinformation. After an examination of posts from 12 leading social media and messaging platforms (SMPs), they found that while most stated that they prohibited COVID-19 misinformation, only four had a COVID-19 misinformation policy. To read more, please see the article in the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review.
