Symposium on protecting public health through U.S. climate action: Making sense of the shifting landscape after WV v. EPA and the Inflation Reduction Act

Event: The GW Climate and Health Institute (CHI) will hold a symposium event titled, "Protecting public health through U.S. climate action: Making sense of the shifting landscape after WV v. EPA and the Inflation Reduction Act.” Senator Tom Carper will deliver the keynote address, with an introduction by GW President Mark Wrighton. Two panels of experts will then discuss health and Environmental Justice implications of the Inflation Reduction Act and the WV v. EPA Supreme Court decision, as well as advancing action on multiple fronts to get the rest of the way to a healthy climate. Registration is required. The event will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person and a link will be circulated closer to the event date.
