His research primarily focuses on the impact of regulations, market structure, and financial incentives on physicians’ and patients’ behaviors, patient outcomes, and healthcare costs, often using causal research designs. Dr. Moghtaderi's research has been published in Health Affairs, JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Cardiology, and Journal of Empirical Legal Studies.
