Lucy Jewett Lowenthal works as a lecturer at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. She has been at the university working in the school since 2010. She served as the project manager for the construction and planning of the School’s main academic building at 950 New Hampshire Ave, Washington, DC. The building was the first LEED Platinum academic university building in Washington DC. Following completion of the main building she became project manager for the building out of 50,000 square feet of Lab Space at the Science and Engineering Hall. Most recently, she is working more in the role of property manager at the school’s 2175 K street location in addition to helping coordinate others projects from the Dean’s office while also teaching one class in Health Policy.
Lucy joined the university after a long publishing, fundraising and nonprofit career having worked at Time Life Books, National Geographic Society, The National Building Museum, The Environmental Defense Fund, Martha’s Table and Second Genesis.
