Ms. MacTaggart, Teacher Instructor and Program Director for the MHIA@GWU and the MPH@GWU Health Informatics Concentration, has completed a four year appointment at the VA following an appointment at HHS/Office of the National Coordinator. An adjunct at The GWU for many years before joining full-time, she was a Principal at Health Management Associates (HMA), an executive at EDS for State and Local Government Health Care, and a public servant for almost 30 years, including six years at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS), more than 10 years at Minnesota Medicaid, including the role of Minnesota's Medicaid Director, and various county-level eligibility positions in the Medicaid arena over an additional 10 plus years.
