Dr. Marissa Robinson is an infectious disease epidemiologist, public health strategist, educator, and health equity scholar whose
experience spans federal policy, public health practice, research, academia, and community engagement. Her work focuses on HIV
prevention, sexual health, infectious diseases, health equity, and translating research and policy into community-centered public health practice.

Dr. Robinson is the CEO and Founder of Real Health Impact, LLC, a public health consulting firm focused on population health strategy, community engagement, workforce development, and organizational capacity building. Previously, she held leadership and advisory roles across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Health Resources and Services Administration, where her work spanned HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, vaccines and immunization, antimicrobial resistance, and national Ending the HIV Epidemic efforts. She also co-led initiatives centering Black women and helped translate community perspectives into federal public health policy and practice.

At the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health, Dr. Robinson teaches in the Doctor of Public Health program and mentors emerging public health leaders. She is a published researcher and public health science communicator whose scholarship and educational work address HIV prevention, sexual health, and health equity, with particular attention to Black women and communities disproportionately impacted by HIV.

Dr. Robinson earned her DrPH from Morgan State University, MPH from Emory University, and BA from Spelman College, and completed
predoctoral clinical research training at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She serves as Vice President of the National Association for Doctors of Public Health and on the Academy Council for Racial Equity of the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She is a two-time 40 Under 40 honoree for her contributions to public health and health equity.
