Aline Maybank is an environmental health researcher who uses geospatial and statistical techniques to study how environmental conditions, including wildfire smoke, extreme heat, air pollution, food access, and community severance, affect human health. She earned her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences and Climate Change from the Yale School of Public Health, where her thesis examined the chemical composition and source attribution of wildfire smoke. Aline is originally from Canada and has previously worked for the NASA DEVELOP program, the Yale Center for Geospatial Solutions, and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
