Dr. Heather Hoffman published an outcomes paper on community ART distribution in the DRC in PLOS Global Public Health. This paper compared outcomes among clinically stable adults living with HIV receiving MMD (ART multi-month dispensation) via PODI+ (poste de distribution communautaire) model or health facility (HF). It concluded PODI+ could be a useful model for expansion to serve larger clinic populations from overburdened health facilities.
