Sydnae W. Law

Sydnae W. Law, EdD, MHA, is an executive leader with more than fifteen years of experience advancing strategic growth and organizational transformation across complex academic and clinical environments. As a trusted strategist, she builds high performing teams and translates institutional vision into scalable initiatives that strengthen practice-based education, workforce development and cross sector collaboration.

Dr. Law centers community engagement as a rigorous, reciprocal learning approach through which institutions and communities exchange knowledge, resources and strengths to co-create shared value and lasting educational impact.

As Director of Applied Public Health Practice and Adjunct Professorial Lecturer at The George Washington University, Dr. Law leads an interdisciplinary portfolio that advances experiential learning models translating theory into action. She has scaled partnerships across government, healthcare systems, global organizations and nonprofit sectors to advance the student learning experience. Dr. Law centers community priorities as essential to learning, aligning real world challenges with applied research and fieldwork to deliver tangible outcomes and prepare students to lead with integrity, cultural fluency and confidence. 

Previously, Dr. Law served as Director of Community Engagement and Partnership Operations for GW Nursing, where she oversaw globally engaged centers and revenue-generating ventures and led fiscal and operational strategy for a multimillion-dollar portfolio while expanding clinical, community-engaged and interprofessional education programs. With a longstanding commitment to the GW enterprise, Dr. Law has also held critical roles at the George Washington Medical Faculty Associates and The George Washington University Hospital. 

Dr. Law holds a Doctor of Education from The George Washington University, a Master of Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Science from Towson University. Her scholarly and professional contributions include national presentations and publications on community-engaged education, executive presence and experiential learning.
